In the past year Amador Importers saw an opportunity to bring high quality and premium brand beer to the Western Canadian market. Much of the beer sold in Canada is mass-produced and watered down, something that the majority of Canadians take for granted as quality beer. We started down the road of sourcing premium products with caution, but soon we were surprised about the quality and the flavour of premium beers.
A QUALITY BEER CAN BE ENJOYED AND SAVOURED LIKE A FINE WINE
Soon we came to realize that just like fine wine a quality beer is something that can be enjoyed anytime and can be an excellent compliment to any fine meal- much the same as wine. Also, to our amazement were the extent and the number connoisseurs that exist in our market. In February 2003, we introduced our first Belgian beer from Brassiere Caracole and we were astonished at the immediate response. At this point we felt we were on to something good and pursued bringing in other exceptional brands. Amador Importers are pleased to introduce several new breweries to Western Canada: Brasserie de l'Abbaye des Rocs, Traquair House, O'Hanlon's Brewing Co., L&L Cognac, Brouwerij Bavik, Brouwerij Bosteels, Brasserie Verhaeghe, Marston's Brewery and Brasserie Binchoise and as well as our first brewery, Brasserie Caracole. We continue our quest to bring more exceptional brands to Western Canada and our website will be updated upon new listings.
